I don’t remember the first time I realized it, but I’ve
known it for quite a few years. The end of professional baseball in the US is
near. I expect before the end of my lifetime, baseball will become America’s 4th
or 5th favorite sport – if it’s not there already.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a deals problem. It’s very difficult for me to resist a great deal, especially if it’s something I want. I own so many Xbox 360 games I will never play, simply because they were too cheap to pass up.
Well, that mentality got me into a little adventure last weekend. I was presented with a deal I simply couldn’t refuse: $78 roundtrip to Dallas from SFO. I’ve never been to Dallas.
